The Playground Ensemble presents its annual Colorado Composers Showcase, featuring works performed in collaboration with other artists and organizations.

Since 2006, the Playground Ensemble’s annual Colorado Composers Concert (CoCoCo) has featured 118 works by 80 different Colorado-based composers including 16 K-12 composers. Recently, the organization shifted the focus of this concert to the Colorado Collaborators Showcase (CoCoSho) so that we could continue to expand the realm of contemporary music and offer a platform for cross-disciplinary artists to expand their creative practice and experiment with contemporary chamber music.

At this concert, Leah will perform the world premiere of composer Robert Strobel’s “Poisons”, commissioned by the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition.
